James Sutcliffe
Managing Director
James joined his father - Sutcon founder David Sutcliffe - in 1991, originally working on site then moving into the office to gain experience of technical drawing/AutoCAD, 3D modelling, estimating and project management, before becoming Managing Director in 2006.
Sam Allen
Construction Director
With over 20 years of service at Sutcon, Sam initially worked on site, progressing through the business and was promoted to Construction Director in 2012. As head of the Commercial Division, he has overall responsibility for the operational side of the business and is an integral part of the Senior Management Team.
Harry Croft
Residential Director
Harry joined the team in 2018 with 20 years of experience in Residential Projects. He oversees the Residential Division, as well as being part of the Senior Management Team for the whole group.
Kathryn Tebb
Finance Director
Kathryn has worked in the construction industry for almost 20 years and has overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the business. She works closely with colleagues in all departments and sits on the Senior Management Team.
Rory Smith
Project Manager
Rory joined the team as a trainee estimator in 2017, before moving into Project Management. He is involved with designing and managing our clients industrial and commercial projects.
Emily Benson
Business Operations Manager
Emily looks after the operational elements of the business, HR and marketing, as well as playing an instrumental role in the Residential Division.
Joe Metcalfe
Structural Detailer
Joe oversees our Design Office, working with Architects and Engineers to develop projects prior to sending structural steel to be manufactured in-house.
George Hedgley
Estimator
Whilst studying for a degree in Quantity Surveying, George began his career at Sutcon in 2017 and has now progressed to heading up our Estimating Department.
Lindsey Smith
HSQE Consultant
With over 33 years in the construction industry, Lindsey looks after all things Health, Safety, Quality and Environment for the business.
